Dissolution Apparatus Validation Tool

Jun 14, 2019

For dissolution instrument validation, commonly used measurement tools include:

Thermometer: used to measure the temperature in the dissolution apparatus to ensure that the experimental temperature is consistent with the specified temperature.

Timer: used for accurate timing to ensure that the dissolution test time meets the requirements.

Electronic balance: used to accurately weigh samples and solutions to ensure the accuracy of sample and solution quality.

pH meter: used to measure the pH value of the dissolution solution to ensure that the pH value of the dissolution solution meets the specified requirements.

UV spectrophotometer: used to measure the absorbance in the drug dissolution solution to determine the dissolution rate of the drug.

Screen: used to screen drug samples to ensure that the particle size of the sample meets the specified requirements.

Needle burette: used to add titrant to ensure accurate measurement of components in the dissolution solution.

The above are common verification measurement tools for dissolution instruments. Depending on the requirements of different experiments, other measurement tools may be needed to complete the verification.
