Precautions for the Resistance Furnace

 

1. When the resistance furnace is started, the operator must first check whether there are iron filings and other residual items in it. If there are any, they must be cleaned to avoid a short circuit when the iron filings fall.
2. When the resistance furnace is working, pay attention that the load-bearing capacity of the workpiece in the furnace should not be greater than that of the bottom plate.
3. In order to ensure that the workpiece can be effectively incinerated in the resistance furnace, do not open the door casually during operation; additionally, ensure that neither the workpiece placed in the resistance furnace nor the thermocouple inserted into it touches each other.
4. When taking out the workpiece, care should be taken to avoid scalding others due to high temperatures. The temperature should be raised and lowered regularly according to changing requirements of the workpiece.
5. The resistance furnace should be inspected and repaired on time.
