Planetary ball mills are widely used in chemical industry, materials, minerals, metallurgy, electronics and other departments. With their small size, high efficiency, easy operation and convenient maintenance, they are the preferred equipment for grinding, dispersing and mixing materials in enterprises and scientific research institutes.
Through continuous improvements and upgrades, the operation of planetary ball mills has become very simple, but it may still be a bit difficult for first-time users. Today, we will get familiar with the operation process of planetary ball mill.
Filling and grinding jars
First, put the materials and grinding balls into the grinding jar. It is recommended that one-third of the volume of the grinding jar be filled with materials and one-third of the grinding balls. The remaining one-third of the space is used for the movement of the balls and materials during grinding. Then cover the grinding jar and put it into the planetary ball mill jar holder and lock it.
Operation and setting parameters
The startup operation of the planetary ball mill is very simple. It mainly involves setting parameters such as speed, rotation direction, and running time. This requires taking time to read the instructions, and then press the start button after completing the operation according to the instructions. The equipment will automatically stop when the set time is reached.
Canning and screening
The unloading process after the equipment stops is actually the reverse operation during installation. The difference is that for ball material separation, you need to manually screen the screen or use a vibrating screen machine. Note that after pouring out the materials, the grinding jar and grinding ball must be cleaned in time.
