Calibration specifications for the Cleveland Open Flash Point Tester are as follows:
Regularly check the expiration dates of calibration gases and standard flash point liquids to ensure they are within the expiry date.
Warm up the equipment to a stable state before calibrating.
Perform zero point calibration before calibration. Empty the sample chamber, turn off the flash point detector heater, then set the flash point detector heater temperature to room temperature, press the "zero" button, and wait for the indicator light to stabilize before calibrating.
Perform standard liquid calibration. Open the sample chamber cover, pour the standard flash point liquid into the sample chamber, set the flash point detector heater temperature to the flash point temperature of the standard liquid, press the "Calibration" button, and wait until the indicator light stabilizes to complete the calibration.
When testing samples, follow the steps in the instruction manual to ensure good contact between the sample and the equipment to avoid errors caused by too high or too low temperatures.
After calibration, the calibration results should be recorded in time, and the calibration date, calibration personnel and other information should be marked on the equipment for subsequent reference.
Perform regular calibration and maintenance to keep the equipment in normal operating condition.
