The working principle of the stirring ball mill is: add the material into the drum of the stirring ball mill through the feed port, and add an appropriate amount of water or other liquid at the same time. The motor drives the stirring shaft to rotate, stir the ball mill and the material together, so that the material is gradually refined under the impact, friction and friction of the ball mill to achieve the required particle size requirements. When the material reaches the specified particle size, it is discharged from the discharge port to complete the entire ball milling process.
There are generally two ways of feeding and discharging the stirring ball mill:
Manual feeding and discharging: The operator manually opens the feed and discharge ports to control the time and speed of feeding and discharging. This method is simple to operate, but it requires manual control of the uniformity and accuracy of feeding and discharging.
Automatic feeding and discharging: Through a control system such as a computer or PLC, the time and speed of feeding and discharging are automatically controlled to ensure the uniformity and accuracy of feeding and discharging. Compared with manual feeding and discharging, automatic feeding and discharging can improve production efficiency and product quality, but it requires higher costs.
The selection of feeding and discharging methods for stirring ball mills needs to consider the scale of production and product quality requirements. For small-scale production or low-quality product requirements, manual loading and unloading is a more economical and practical method. For large-scale production or production of high-quality products, automatic loading and unloading is more suitable.
